Jason Lowery applies for a position at the White House, intending to provide advice on Bitcoin national security strategy
The author of "Softwar", U.S. Space Force Major Jason Lowery, has announced that he has applied to serve as a military advisor for the National Security Council (NSC) and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP).
Lowery plans to provide advice to the Department of Defense on the national strategic significance of Proof-of-Work (PoW) technology, and propose policies related to strategic Bitcoin reserves and U.S. computational force. He believes that PoW technology can be used as a non-kinetic defense system, deterring network threats by imposing physical costs on power consumption.
