According to EmberCN monitoring, Mantle (formerly BitDAO) may repurchase 100 million BIT from FTX/Alameda through Mirana Ventures via OTC.
They transferred 38.73 million US dollar stablecoins to FTX/Alameda two days ago and received 105 million BIT from the FTX/Alameda address. The OTC price might be $0.367 per BIT, while the current MNT (formerly BIT) price is $1.03.
ByBit and FTX had swapped their platform coins in early November 2021: ByBit used 100 million BIT to exchange for 3.36 million FTT of FTX, with both parties promising not to sell within three years. Currently, these 336.2 thousand FTT ($9.18M USD) are still in Mantle's address.
