Ripple CEO: The 2024 election is a "major victory" for cryptocurrency
According to CoinDesk, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said in a "60 Minutes" interview that the 2024 election was a "major victory" for cryptocurrencies, as most of the candidates supported by cryptocurrency political action committees (PACs) won seats.
He believes this is a non-partisan effort because cryptocurrency itself is non-partisan and pointed out that the digital asset bill FIT21 has received bipartisan support. He stated: “In congressional elections, 85% of the 29 Republicans and 33 Democrats supported by this industry have won. This is incredible."
