The daily transaction volume of the Base network surpassed the Ethereum main network on January 8
According to data from Aerodrome, a news outlet focused on finance and cryptocurrency, Ethereum's Layer2 network, Base, recorded a single-day transaction volume of $2.3 billion on January 8th, surpassing the Ethereum mainnet for the first time. Additionally, the WETH-USDC pool on Aerodrome currently has a total value of $698 million, which is greater than the combined total value of the top 6 WETH pools on the mainnet.
