The United States imposes a 25% tariff on imported goods from Canada and Mexico
The US President Trump signed a tariff order that day, imposing an additional 25% tariff on imported products from Canada and Mexico, and a 10% tariff on energy resources from Canada. The tariffs are set to take effect in 4 days. The White House stated that if there is retaliation against the US tariffs, the US may increase the intensity of the tariffs.
