U.S. stocks opened with some star tech stocks weakening, AMD fell 10%
U.S. stocks opened with the Dow Jones down 16 points, the S&P 500 down 0.21% and the Nasdaq down 0.64%.
Some of the star tech stocks weakened, with AMD (AMD.O) falling 10% to its lowest intraday level since November 2023, the company said. Google (GOOGL.O) fell 7.8 percent and Apple (AAPL.O) dropped 1.5 percent. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index fell 1.5 percent.
