Bitwise Europe Research Director: The weakening of the US dollar coupled with various countries' central banks reducing their holdings of US debt, BTC and gold are expected to benefit
According to The Block, Bitwise Europe's research director André Dragosch stated that against the backdrop of a macroeconomic environment suggesting a possible shift in the dominance of the US dollar, Bitcoin and gold are gaining market attention.
As the largest overseas holders of US debt, China and Japan are reducing their holdings of US Treasury bonds, causing concerns about long-term demand for US government bonds. Dragosch revealed that some foreign central banks have asked Bitwise USA about the possibility of shifting part of their U.S. bond investments to Bitcoin spot ETFs, with Czech National Bank also considering similar measures.
