97.5 per cent probability that the Federal Reserve will leave interest rates unchanged in March
According to the CME ‘Fed Watch’, the probability of the Federal Reserve to keep interest rates unchanged in March is 97.5%, the probability of cutting interest rates by 25 basis points is 2.5%. The probability of keeping the current rate unchanged in May is 79.2%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 20.3%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point cut is 0.5%.
