Stablecoin USDT issuer Tether has reportedly increased its stake in Latin American agricultural company Adecoagro.
Tether has reportedly increased its stake in Adecoagro from 51 per cent to 70 per cent at a price of $12.41 per share, with AGRO shares rising more than 7 per cent to $11.95 in pre-market trading following the announcement.
