BlackRock: U.S. Stocks Under Short-Term Pressure, But Remain Attractive Long-Term
U.S. stocks may remain under pressure in the short term, but remain attractive over the long term as they benefit from the growth of artificial intelligence, solid corporate earnings and the so-far strong U.S. economy, strategists at BlackRock Investment Institute said in a report. Policy uncertainty could be a drag on growth and stocks in the short term. However, we believe the U.S. equity market can regain its global leadership position. Nonetheless, volatility in risk assets is expected to continue for the time being, with the potential for sharp reversals in asset prices.
