Trump: No Regrets Nominating Powell
On Thursday, after a series of insults directed at Federal Reserve Chairman Powell, U.S. President Trump was asked by reporters if he regretted nominating Powell for the position. Trump said, "I think he's terrible, but I can't complain," noting that the economy was strong during his first term. Trump went on to continue complaining about Powell, stating he believes the Fed Chairman is "playing politics" and added that Powell is "someone I've never really liked."
