Strategy ended April with a 32% increase in its stock price, marking its strongest monthly performance since November.

The firm, formerly known as MicroStrategy, closed trading on April 30 at $380.11, up from $288 on March 31, based on Google Finance data.

The sharp rise comes just before its scheduled Q1 2025 earnings call on May 1, which the crypto industry is watching closely.

According to Seeking Alpha, analysts anticipate that Strategy will report $116.6 million in revenue, a modest 1% year-on-year increase but a 3.4% decline from the previous quarter’s $120.7 million.

Despite these projections, Strategy has exceeded revenue estimates 25% of the time over the past two years.

Michael Saylor, who leads the company, is expected to address investors during a post-earnings webinar at 9 PM UTC on the same day.

One key point of speculation is the possibility of a major capital raise.

“MSTR will announce a huge capital raise in their earnings call tomorrow. $100B is in play,” stated Apollo Sat’s founder, Thomas Fahrer, on X.

This follows Strategy's move on March 10, when it entered into a sales agreement to issue and sell Series A perpetual preferred stock, aiming to raise funds for general corporate use including potential Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) acquisitions.

As of now, Strategy holds 553,555 Bitcoin, estimated to be worth $52.57 billion, based on Saylor Tracker.

In Q4 2024, the firm recorded a net loss of $670.8 million, attributed to increased Bitcoin purchases.

That quarter also saw the acquisition of 218,887 Bitcoin.

Syz Capital partner Richard Byworth recently suggested a more aggressive approach, proposing that Strategy should consider acquiring companies to leverage their cash reserves for Bitcoin buying, instead of relying on over-the-counter methods.

The market awaits Strategy’s next move as it continues to tie its financial future to Bitcoin.

Panic selling is all wrong? Bernstein: The real bull market structure is more stable, stronger, and less likely to collapse

Bitcoin has recently experienced a significant 25% pullback. Bernstein believes this was caused by market panic over the four-year halving cycle.
