CryptoQuant CEO: Strategy Buys Faster Than Bitcoin Mining Speed and Gains Deflationary Advantage
On May 10, CryptoQuant founder and CEO Ki Young Ju posted on the X platform stating that Bitcoin is deflationary, and Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) is purchasing Bitcoin at a pace faster than Bitcoin mining. They hold approximately 555,000 Bitcoins, which are in a non-liquid state with no plans to sell. This means that Strategy's Bitcoin holdings can achieve a -2.23% annual deflation rate, and the deflation rate for Bitcoin held by other stable institutional holders may be even higher.
