Metaplanet CEO: Japanese Investors Are Indirectly Investing in Bitcoin Through Tax-Free Investment Mechanisms
Simon Gerovich, CEO of the Japanese listed company Metaplanet, stated on X that Metaplanet became the most purchased stock in the NISA accounts of Japan's largest online brokerage, SBI Securities, last week. Japanese investors are indirectly investing in Bitcoin through NISA, a tax-free investment mechanism, while avoiding capital gains tax.
