The committee's dedicated virtual asset task force also received additional briefings from regulators, with a particular focus on key issues such as capital requirements for issuers. It is reported that regulatory authorities emphasized the need to establish clearer issuance standards to restrict entry by small cryptocurrency firms lacking sufficient capital.
