Iren surpasses MARA to become the world’s leading mining company by hash rate, producing 728 Bitcoins in July
According to Jinse Finance, Australian mining company Iren (IREN) surpassed MARA for the first time in July, achieving a production of 728 bitcoins and an equipment utilization rate of over 90%, compared to MARA’s 703 bitcoins and utilization rate of less than 75%, making Iren the world’s leading mining company in terms of computing power. Its average hash rate reached 45.4 EH/s, and it set records with $86 million in revenue and $66 million in hardware profits.
