BofA Strategist: If the Jackson Hole Central Bank Symposium Delivers a Dovish Signal, U.S. Stocks May Pull Back
According to ChainCatcher, citing Bloomberg, the team led by Bank of America Chief Investment Strategist Michael Hartnett pointed out that if the Federal Reserve sends a dovish signal at the Jackson Hole global central bank symposium, the U.S. stock market may experience a pullback after this week’s record rally. The report indicates that, as the market anticipates the Fed may cut interest rates to address a weakening labor market and ease the U.S. debt burden, investors have poured into risk assets such as stocks, cryptocurrencies, and corporate bonds.
