According to ChainCatcher, as reported by Bitcoin Laws, Arkansas Congressman David Schweikert has introduced a new bill proposing that the President be allowed to issue "letters of marque," authorizing individuals and companies to apprehend cryptocurrency fraudsters outside the United States. The proposal aims to strengthen efforts against cryptocurrency theft and protect the interests of the industry.
