KindlyMD subsidiary commits to invest $30 million in Metaplanet's Bitcoin equity financing
ChainCatcher reported that Nakamoto, a subsidiary of the Nasdaq-listed healthcare services company KindlyMD, has committed to invest up to $30,000,000 in Metaplanet's global stock offering. This marks its largest investment to date and its first investment in an Asia-listed company adopting a bitcoin treasury strategy.
Metaplanet announced on Tuesday that it plans to issue 385 million new shares to raise approximately $1.4 billion to support its bitcoin accumulation strategy. On August 27, Nasdaq-listed KindlyMD announced plans to issue $5 billion in shares to expand its bitcoin treasury business.
