Galaxy Digital secures $460 million in investment to build a massive AI data center in Texas
Galaxy Digital has received $460 million in private investment to transform its former bitcoin mining site in Texas into a large artificial intelligence data center. The company announced on Friday that the transaction involves the purchase of 12.77 million Class A shares at a price of $36 per share, with the proceeds to be used specifically for general corporate purposes and expanding its Helios campus, expected to provide 133 megawatts of IT capacity by early 2026. The transaction is expected to be completed around October 17, 2025, pending approval from the Toronto Stock Exchange.
