Canaan Secures 4.5MW Bitcoin Mining Machine Contract in Japan for Real-Time Grid Frequency Regulation
According to ChainCatcher, citing Bitcoin News, Canaan Inc. has announced the signing of a 4.5MW contract in Japan to deploy Avalon water-cooled bitcoin miners for real-time grid load balancing and energy optimization.
The facility, led by a major regional utility, will use Canaan's intelligent control chips to dynamically adjust voltage, frequency, and hashrate in order to stabilize the grid and improve efficiency. It is expected to be operational by the end of 2025.
