Elon Musk: Peer-to-peer encrypted application XChat will be launched soon

ChainCatcher News, Elon Musk stated that the encrypted messaging feature XChat is about to be launched. It will use end-to-end encryption, is planned to be released as a standalone application, and is expected to be launched within a few months.

"The goal of XChat is to replace the old Twitter direct messaging system and create a fully encrypted platform that supports text, file transfers, audio, and video calls. I believe it is the least risky among all messaging systems."
