Data: Monthly funding paid by Bitcoin perpetual contract longs drops to $127 million
Foresight News reported that glassnode stated that the monthly funding rate paid by long positions in bitcoin perpetual contracts has dropped by approximately 62%, from $338 million per month in mid-August to the current $127 million per month. This highlights a clear macro downward trend in speculative appetite, as traders are increasingly unwilling to pay interest to maintain long positions.
