Numerai LLC, a hedge fund headquartered in San Francisco that utilizes crowdsourced data science and blockchain-based rewards, has

raised $30 million in Series C financing

with leading university endowments at the helm, pushing its valuation to $500 million—five times higher than in 2023. The funding round also saw continued backing from existing investors, including renowned macro investor Paul Tudor Jones and Union Square Ventures, as well as unnamed endowments. This influx of capital, together with a $500 million capacity pledge from J.P. Morgan Asset Management,
