Adam Back: Quantum Threats Are in the "Very Early Stages" and Will Not Pose a Threat to Bitcoin in the Next Decade
According to TechFlow, on December 19, Cointelegraph reported that there are disagreements among bitcoin developers and investors regarding the risk assessment of quantum computing. Blockstream co-founder Adam Back believes that the quantum threat is still in its "very early stages" and will not pose a substantial threat to bitcoin for decades to come. However, Castle Island Ventures partner Nic Carter pointed out that developers' denial of the risk has already had a negative impact on bitcoin's price and has hindered capital inflows.
