USDT and USDC Drive $192B Daily Stablecoin Transfers, Almost Twice the Volume of Top 5 Cryptos
COINOTAG News reports that, per Glassnode data, the average daily transfer volume for the dominant stablecoins USDT and USDC sits around $192 billion over the past 90 days. The metric underscores stablecoins liquidity and expanding on-chain settlement capacity across crypto markets.
This level eclipses the transfer activity of the top five cryptocurrencies, estimated near $103 billion, highlighting a trend toward stablecoin-driven liquidity and stronger cross-asset settlement flow.
Within the Tron ecosystem, daily transfer activity for USDT and USDC runs about $24.2 billion, roughly ten times XRP’s on-chain transfer throughput, illustrating how network design shapes liquidity distribution and cross-network settlement.
Overall, these Glassnode insights emphasize the growing role of stablecoins in liquidity management and settlement efficiency, with implications for exchanges, DeFi protocols, and cross-chain interoperability.
