Trust Wallet Hack: Over $6 Million Stolen, Largest Wallet Drains $3.5M and Second $1.4M, $4M Moved to CEX
COINOTAG News, December 26, citing analyst Specter’s statistics, identifies the largest loss wallet in this morning’s Trust Wallet breach at approximately $3.5 million in crypto assets. The address had been dormant for about a year.
The second-largest loss wallet recorded a drop of around $1.4 million, with its address remaining dormant for more than two years prior to the incident.
Earlier reporting indicated the hacker stole over $6 million in crypto, with more than $4 million subsequently transferred to a CEX.
