Tapiero: Bitcoin Will Rise to $100,000 No Matter Who Is Elected President
Bitcoin will rise to $100,000 regardless of the outcome of the U.S. presidential election, according to Dan Tapiero, founder of 10T Holdings. Speaking at the Permissionless conference, Tapiero said that Bitcoin, which is representative of cryptocurrencies, will soon reach $100,000, and that other assets will follow suit.
The SEC's tough stance on cryptocurrency companies has led many to believe that the current administration is against cryptocurrencies. Trump has promised to fire current SEC Chairman Gary Gensler, while Harris wants the U.S. to remain dominant in Blockchain technology.
ZX Squared Capital's CK Zheng said Bitcoin's price will benefit no matter who wins the presidential election. Historically, halving events in Bitcoin usually leads to strong fourth quarter performance.
Tapiero believes that the trend of putting all value on the blockchain is more important than one election, and that this trend will continue and be global.
